Playing a musical instrument can frustrating at times. Deterringly frustrating (don’t know deterringly if is actually a word, but who cares). I try to play tabs/chords for songs on the guitar but get stumped so easily. I just can’t make it sound like a should. The same with the clarinet. I often get a song in my head and so want to play it on the clarinet. But when I pull out the instrument, my brain just dumbs down. I can whistle the tune (I can whistle like a MF when I want to) and evne whistle it in tune with the song. But break it down to another instrument and I just struggle. I need to somehow connect the two. Arghhhh, shall just have to soldier on… I need someone to jam with (that always seems to break my musician’s block)…
